How do I change my password?

There are two different ways to change your password in your Venga app, one if you remember your old password and the other way is if you don’t remember your old password. 

If you are logged in to the Venga app: 

  1. Go to your settings tab
  2. Select Security
  3. Click on the change password button. 
  4. Enter your existing password
  5. Then you will be prompted to create a new password. Make sure that your password contains the minimum requirements to be accepted.
  6. Then you will need to enter your 6 digits passcode to confirm the change and then your password will be updated. 

If you don't remember your password and you are not logged in: 

  1. Open your Venga app and click on “Get Started”. 
  2. Then you will need to enter the email address or phone number that you used to sign up to the app. 
  3. You will be sent a verification code to your email or phone number, depending on what you used in the previous step. 
  4. You will be taken to the screen where you can input your password. 
  5. Click on the forgot password button and you will need to enter the verification code sent to your phone.
  6. Enter the verification code and click continue. (The verification code will expire in 2 minutes) 
  7. Lastly you will be prompted to create a new password. Please make sure you use a secure password that meets the requirements listed on the create password screen. 

Note: If you are logged in but do not remember your password follow the process above after logging out.
