What do I need to complete the identity verification?

In order to complete the identity verification you will need the following:

1. Government-issued photo ID (e.g., passport or National Id) that is unexpired. Driver license is not accepted as proof of identity.

2. Proof of address (not older than 3 months) 

3. Take a selfie video.

4. Completing a small form with information about your employment status and source of funds.

Common Proof of Address Examples

The document must contain your full name and home address.

  • Tax bill, valid for 1 year.
  • Mortgage statement.
  • Certificate of voter registration.
  • Correspondence with a government authority regarding the receipt of benefits such as a pension, unemployment benefits, housing benefits, etc.
  • Cable bill (but not from satellite TV companies).
  • Landline telephone bill (the document must not be older than 3 months).
  • Bank statement showing the date of issue and the name of the person (the document must be not older than 3 months).
  • Utility bill for gas, electricity, water, internet, etc. linked to the property (the document must not be older than 3 months).
  • A lease agreement that is current and has the signatures of the landlord and the tenant.
  • Credit card statement issued by a bank (the document must not be older than 3 months)
  • Letter from a recognized public authority or public servant (any government-issued correspondence not older than 3 months).
  • Employer’s certificate for Proof of Address.
