Due to evolving European regulations, Venga is temporarily pausing support for USDC. This article explains what is changing, when each change takes effect, and what you need to do.
Action required: If you hold USDC on Venga, we recommend selling or withdrawing your balance before 26 June 2026.
Why is Venga pausing USDC?
At Venga, we are committed to building a platform that meets the highest regulatory standards in Europe.
As part of this process, support for USDC will be temporarily paused while we adapt to new regulatory requirements. We will continue to share updates as they become available and will let you know if support for USDC returns in the future.
What is the timeline?
| Date | What changes |
|---|---|
| 3 – 26 June 2026 | Transition period. You can still sell your USDC or withdraw it to an external wallet. Your balance remains fully accessible. |
| 18 June 2026 | USDC deposits and purchases disabled. Your deposit address will no longer appear in the app. |
| 26 June 2026 | Last day to sell your USDC or make standard withdrawals. |
| From 27 June 2026 | USDC delisted. The only available action is an on-chain withdrawal to an external wallet outside Venga. USDC sent to your deposit address after this date will not be credited automatically and may require manual review. |
What do I need to do?
If you hold USDC on Venga, you have two options before 26 June 2026:
- Sell your USDC - sell it for euros directly in the app.
- Withdraw your USDC - send it to an external wallet on the Ethereum (ERC-20) network.
If you take no action by 26 June 2026, your USDC balance will remain accessible for on-chain withdrawal only. You will not lose your funds.
Can I swap my USDC for another crypto?
Yes. During the transition period (until 26 June 2026), you can swap USDC for other supported crypto-assets directly in the app. After 26 June 2026, swaps involving USDC will no longer be available.
What happens if I already have the deposit address saved?
If you send USDC to your existing Venga deposit address between 3rd June and 18th June 2026, the deposit will still be processed normally. From 18th June 2026, any USDC sent to that address will not be credited automatically. If this happens, please contact our support team for a case-by-case review.
Note: Do not send USDC to your Venga address after 18th June 2026. Recovery of unsupported-token deposits may take time, cannot be guaranteed and may generate extra costs.
Will I lose my USDC?
No. Your existing USDC balance will remain accessible throughout the transition and beyond 26 June 2026, for withdrawal purposes. Venga will not automatically sell or liquidate your funds.
Will USDC come back to Venga?
Possibly. Venga is temporarily suspending USDC while completing the required regulatory assessment and authorisation process. We will notify you if and when USDC becomes available again. Watch for in-app notifications and updates at support.venga.com.
